This Privacy Policy explains how Elite Restoration Services of Iowa, LLC ("Elite," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit eliteofia.com (including our campaign page at eliteofia.com/tv), fill out our inspection request form, or call or text us. We are a water, fire, and mold mitigation company based in Des Moines, Iowa. We wrote this policy in plain English. If you have questions, contact us using the information at the end.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our inspection request form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address (optional)
  • The ZIP code of the property you want inspected
  • The type of service you need (for example, water, fire, or mold)
  • Any message or details you choose to include
  • Whether you checked the optional box agreeing to receive calls and texts from us, the exact wording of that box, the date and time you submitted the form, your IP address, and the web page you sent it from

We also collect information you give us when you call, text, or email us, such as your name, contact details, and details about the damage to your property.

Please do not include sensitive information in the form, such as Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, insurance policy passwords, or health information. We do not need it to schedule an inspection.

Information collected automatically

Our website is a simple site hosted by Bluehost. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically keeps basic server logs when you visit, which may include your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visited, the page that referred you to us, and the date and time of your visit. These logs are used to keep the site running, secure, and free of abuse.

At this time, we do not use analytics tools, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels on our website. See Section 6 for what will change if we add them. Our fonts, images, and scripts are served from our own website; we do not embed Google Fonts, maps, videos, review widgets, or chat tools from other companies.

Information from phone calls

If you call us, our phone system or answering service may collect your phone number, the date, time, and length of the call, and, if the call is recorded, a recording of the call. See Section 4.

Information from others

If you ask us to, we may receive information about your property or claim from your insurance company, adjuster, property manager, or another person you authorize.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your inspection request and schedule a visit
  • Call, text, or email you about your request, your inspection, or your job
  • Provide mitigation and restoration services you agree to in a signed work authorization
  • Prepare estimates, photos, moisture readings, and other job documentation
  • Send marketing calls or texts only if you gave us permission (see Section 5)
  • Understand which advertising (for example, our TV campaign) led you to contact us
  • Train staff and check the quality of our customer service
  • Keep our website and business secure and prevent fraud
  • Meet our legal, tax, insurance, and record-keeping obligations and protect our legal rights

Photos

We may take photos of your property to document damage and our work. If we use any job photos on our website or in advertising, we remove or blur anything that could identify you or your property, such as faces, house numbers, license plates, family photos, mail, and street views. We do not post your name or address with photos without your written permission.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

We share information only in these situations:

  • Service providers. We use companies that help us run our business, such as our website host (Bluehost), our email provider (Microsoft 365, where form submissions are delivered), our inspection request form (a script on our web host, Bluehost, that emails each request to our Microsoft 365 mailbox), our phone and answering-service providers, and our job-management and accounting software. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Your insurance company or adjuster, at your direction. If you ask us to, or authorize us to, we will share documentation such as photos, moisture readings, estimates, and invoices with your insurance company, adjuster, mortgage company, or property manager.
  • M&B Contractor Services LLC, only with your permission. M&B Contractor Services LLC is a repair and reconstruction contractor owned by the same people who own Elite. We will share your information with M&B only if you ask us to or tell us it is okay. You are free to use any contractor you choose for repairs.
  • Legal reasons. We may share information if required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Elite, our customers, or others; or to collect amounts owed.
  • Business changes. If Elite is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and it will remain covered by the promises in this policy.

4. Call Recording

Calls to and from Elite, including calls answered by our answering service, may be recorded and monitored for quality, training, and record-keeping. You will hear a notice when you call. If you do not want your call recorded, you may tell us, email us at info@eliteofia.com, or use our contact form instead.

5. Calls and Text Messages

Replying to your request. If you submit our form or contact us, we may call, text, or email you about your request, your inspection, or your job.

Marketing calls and texts (optional). Our form includes an optional, unchecked box. If you check it, you agree that Elite may send you marketing calls and text messages, including calls and texts made with an automated system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, at the phone number you gave us. You do not have to agree to get an inspection or buy anything from us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP (or words like QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT). Reply HELP for help, or call us at 515-216-4293. You can also opt out of calls or texts by telling us on a call, calling 515-216-4293, or emailing info@eliteofia.com. We may send one text to confirm your opt-out. We will honor your request within a reasonable time and as required by law.

We do not share or sell your phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Today: We do not use analytics tools, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels on eliteofia.com. Our hosting provider may use cookies or similar technology that are strictly necessary for the site to work and stay secure. When you submit our inspection request form, our site sets one strictly necessary cookie that helps prevent spam and repeated submissions; it expires when you close your browser.

In the future: We may add tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors use our site and to measure and improve our advertising, including our streaming TV campaign. If we do, the following will apply:

  • These tools use cookies, pixels, and similar technology to collect information such as pages visited, time on site, device and browser information, IP address, general location, and the ad or link that brought you to us.
  • Google and Meta may collect this information directly from your browser and use it as described in their own privacy policies. This may include showing you ads for Elite on other websites and apps.
  • We will not intentionally send the contents of our inspection request form (such as your name, phone number, address, or message) to Google or Meta.

Your choices about cookies and ads:

We will update this section and its effective date before or when we add any of these tools.

7. Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, such as encrypted (HTTPS) connections on our website, password-protected business accounts, and limiting access to staff who need it. No website, email, or phone system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive financial information through our form or by email.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:

  • Form submissions that do not become jobs: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Customer and job records (including photos, estimates, invoices, and work authorizations): for 7 years after the job ends, or longer if needed for warranty, insurance, tax, or legal reasons.
  • Call recordings: up to 12 months, unless needed for a dispute or claim.
  • Opt-out records: kept as long as needed so we continue to honor your request.

10. Your Choices

You may:

  • Ask to see the personal information we have about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete your information (we may need to keep some records for legal, tax, insurance, or warranty reasons)
  • Opt out of marketing calls, texts, and emails at any time
  • Ask us not to record your call

To make a request, email info@eliteofia.com or call 515-216-4293. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

11. Your State Privacy Rights

Some states, including Iowa, have consumer privacy laws that give residents certain rights over their personal data. These laws generally apply to larger businesses that handle data about many thousands of people, and they may not apply to Elite. Even so, we offer the choices in Section 10 to everyone, and we do not sell personal information. If you live in a state that gives you additional rights, contact us and we will respond as that law requires.

Our site may link to other websites, such as insurance companies, review sites, social media, or M&B Contractor Services LLC. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make a significant change, such as adding analytics or advertising tools, we will update this page before the change takes effect.

Elite Restoration Services of Iowa, LLC and M&B Contractor Services LLC have the same owners. If you need repairs or rebuilding after mitigation, M&B is one option, but you are never required to use M&B. You are free to choose any contractor, and your choice will not affect the mitigation services Elite provides. We share your information with M&B only with your permission.
